It may have taken two attempts to capture this shoot, but it was definately worth while! Our first attempt was interupted by very strong winds and a huge downfall, but getting back down onto the beach a few days later under the golden sun gave us a beautiful backdrop for this lovely couple.
Due to be married this summer, Steph & Nikki had good fun and acted like true pro’s when we walked around Whitburn beach and park…here are my favourites from the sessions….

Walking around Jesmond Dene, on a glorius day, talking about planning laws, breast feeding and the beahviour of kids was a great way to accompany some awesome shots of the amazing Dee. Here is a sneak peek of what we got up to….

So last week I had the pleasure of meeting up with some familiar faces that I photographed about 18 months ago- this time we decided to head up to the beautiful Gibside for some fun family portraits with all of these lovely kids who meet every Thursday!!
Here are some of my favourites from the session…

It seems an age ago that I first met this couple when they booked me to photograph their big day, and then all of a sudden their day came around. A week of snow, icy winds and low temperatures didn’t put us in a positive position for the weather at todays wedding- especially when we arrived to snow on the ground at Whinstone View. However, as the clouds cleared and the sun came out it became a glorious day… here are a few of my favourites from today…
So here is a little taster of what I am working on at the moment, a shoot for a top Opticians in Durham City Centre showcasing their amazing range of Channel, William Morris, Prada and loads of other amazing brands……I cannot wait to share this whole set with you in a few weeks..

Not that I have been counting the days, but it has been 187 days since my last wedding in 2012 so could not wait to get stuck in today!
We recently shot the engagement session for this couple in Jesmond, and we had a great time talking about everything from Back to the Future to the anarchy my children cause!
I was delighted to find out this couple were getting married at a Church in Alnwick and then going onto the amazing Newton Hall for their reception. This part of the world has a lot of meaning for me and my family so its awesome to go and get to share this wonderful day with a lovely couple and their family too!
Despite the constant rain all day, it didn’t dampen the spirits of the guests who enjoyed a great day in wonderful surroundings too! Here are a few of my favourite images from the day..

So yesterday I was delighted to be shooting at Wade Opticians in Durham to help find the face of the William Morris brand for Wade Opticians. We had a huge amount of interest and people coming through the doors to try on a range of gorgeous glasses and have their image taken with the hope of making it into the judging process.
We had lots of fun letting these models strut their stuff in these frames, so is a taster of who we had come along…

You may remember this lovely couple from their engagement shoot a few weeks ago at the very beautiful Gisborough Hall. This Sunday we were in awe of their amazing wedding peppered with Greek traditions, seasoned with lots of fun, and finished off with a whole sprinkling of sunshine…..Here is a sneak peek of their big day!!
